It is still not out of the realm of possibility that Nacarius Fant breaks the all-time receiving record for the state of Kentucky. Especially if you played the "what-if" game. What if BG vs Bryan Station game would not have been cancelled; What if Fant played the entire game in 4 games this season (Barren County, Logan County, Greenwood and first round of playoffs). Even with the missing game and half played games, he still has a shot at it.

Currently Nacarius is rated the 26th best (statistical) receiver in America. Add those numbers and he would be top 15.

I know Mr. Football is usually a QB award, but you have to agree if Fant were to somehow still manage to break the state record for receiving (he will still pass James Quick) that you would have to give him the trophy. Agree???

Breaking the state's receiving record and doing it in one less game would be very impressive indeed.

What is the states record for receptions in 1 season, and how many yards is the record?

Didn't Quick miss games injured and also played a 9 game season twice in addition to playing many partial games due to blowouts?
