The Greenies improved to 4-0 with their 43-8 victory over PRP in a game played at Central High School. Trinity led 14-0 early in the first quarter after receiving the benefit of short fields after two Panther fumbles. The running clock was used after the Rocks recorded a safety in the third quarter. QB Harper continued to provide the leadership on offense. The spread attack worked smoothly.

 

The defense was able to pressure the PRP QB all afternoon. The lone PRP touchdown was recorded on a long run in the fourth quarter. The Panthers were successful on the two point conversion.

 

This game was part of an all day freshmen jamboree held by the Yellowjackets.

Are the freshmen jamboree's something that are relatively new or have they been around for awhile?

I have heard of freshman jamborees before but not regularly ... but that's just me. I hope Central keeps this one up or they rotate schools and play lots of teams. Great way for guys around the city and maybe from elsewhere to meet and compete.
