Tonight up on the "hill" the Breds take care of business against the Eagles in 3 straight. NewCath raced out to big leads in all three, but Scott came back to make them very interesting. The Eagles do get the Breds in frosh and jv action 2-0 & 2-1.

Up next for the Breds, tomorrow vs. Lexington Tates Creek.

Congrats to the lady Breds. Really impressed with the way those girls have gotten better since last year. LB, how was it in the sweat box tonight? I don't miss the classic Coach Dawns practice with no basketballs. Still have nightmares about them.

Absolutely MISERABLE!!!!! It had to be about 85-90 degrees in their tonight and no air circulation. Sweat was pouring off of folks, and my daughter had to go to the trainers room in the 1st game of the frosh match. She was having an asthma attack and was light-headed (she is a blonde:lol2:). She missed the rest of the frosh and all the JV, but was OK once she cooled off and got some gatorade in her system.

Air Conditioning is a must for that place. Hoops team had open gym at 8:30.....they will be a sweaty mess.

Hard to believe Volleyball games get cancelled because of heat these days!

Haven't heard why we can use the gym at the middle school for our high school teams...

I've endured hotter nights there . K-Mart sells small battery operated fans that work pretty well . It is hard to predict how NCC will play from match to match . Which team will show up ? The one that played last night or the one that played Beechwood ,and Boone Co.

Lawnboy forgets to add that the freshman team had to play 5 v. 6 for most of the 1st game and all of the 2nd not only because of his daughters distress but because other players were missing .

Loved them almost as much as the blond curls. The good ole days when softball was fun. Miss the competition, camaraderie and the city's bucket of wings. :thumb:
