This is the first ever meeting between these two schools.

Will the Bryan Station Defenders defend their home castle from the invading Lexington Catholic Knights?

Who wins and why?

Lexington Catholic 41-35.

Have not seen LexCath play this year, but from them having a high quality QB and receiving corp, I see LexCath by 28 in this one. BS really struggled last week in defensive back field. They may turn it around this week, but if not, going to be another long night.

I think LexCath wins this one. Credit Station for scheduling quality teams. But I feel that Catholic isthe more complete team.

Lex Cath probably wins, but they better learn how to play defense. Giving up alot of pts this year.

Bryan Station will be a test if the Knight defense has improved since week 1.

Pass happy BG hit the Knights with a balanced attack but still got big pass plays and even 'run-centric' St. X put up over 200 yards of passing against the Knights. So passing defense is a concern.

A good gauge would have been the Bryan Station/Bowling Green game - but it was cancelled. Bryan Station did put up 373 yards passing against Murray in week one. But they allowed 372 yards of rushing by Murray in the same game. The Knights typically favor their passing game but found their ground attack against Lafayette. If the Knights can tune their running game it would be helpful to eat up clock and keep the ball out of Orca Johnson's hands as much as possible. And the Knights better work on Kick off coverage - 4 kick-offs returned for TDs in 3 games so far. Kaylan Nelson burned the Knights twice in a row to start the second half of the Lafayette game.

LC has put an impressive team out on the field this year. The BG game was overmatched badly, but BG's gonna see a lot of that this year. They are good. We've got a decent to good running game and some pretty exciting receivers and a quarterback who is rapidly learning, game by game, how to use both. Defense is a work in progress, but there are some solid assets in there. This game tonight will be a good measuring of where they are. I see Catholic by two or more scores.
