Expected this game to be a nail-biter especially with Brossart playing without Sam Cetrulo. Birds took a step backward tonight in the first half, but to their credit came back strong in the second half to put consistent pressure on the Brossart defense and keeper Sarah Futscher. As happened against ND, a good team took advantage of mistakes and Highlands could not capitalize on Brossart mistakes. Highlands needs to regroup a little and concentrate on playing as a unit especially in their defensive half of the field. Cannot keep making the same mistakes over and over again and be successful. Next game versus the Pioneers at SK on Thursday evening.
