Is he comparable to any recent Trinity QB's?
Right now, he is a much more athletic version of Nick Petrino. He did not show any nervousness when scrimmaging with the varsity. Directing his team to four TDs in his first outing is a plus. Coach Beatty would not have him dressing with the varsity if he didn't have the "it" factor.

I, too, have heard that Coach Beatty thinks quite highly of the youngster.
