Simon Kenton 35 Beechwood 20 (JV)

It was a close game, tied at 14 in the third quarter and then Simon Kenton pulled away for the win. Racke looked pretty good at QB for SK. McHugh caught two TD passes for Beechwood.

Good job Pioneers! Racke also had 65 yards rushing and a touchdown in the Varsity game.

I have heard a lot about Racke. After seeing him, I think he is a good player with a lot of potential. He was not jaw dropping good in this game, as all the hype would lead you to expect. I hope the fans let him develop into who he is as a player, which should be very good.

Logan Scott looked good for SK today with a kick-off return and at least one receiving TD.
