What can teams do to Stop Quentin Baker?

Featured Replies

Play assignment football. The offense, as was stated, does a lot of misdirection stuff, but it starts w/ the dive. The fullback is a very strong runner himself. If your OLBs and CBs get sucked into that, not many high school kids are going to tackle him one on one. He gets the ball in kind of a jet sweep action, but not right at the snap like a jet sweep. He's getting to the corner before your DE can get out there to turn him back in. If Raceland runs a 3-3, 3-4, or 3-5 the OLBs will be CRITICAL and CBs have to be there to support and keep a corner from forming.

Well, the question has been answered (see the Raceland/Ashland Game Film).

But, someone else is going to have to come up with a plan to stop Ashland QB Hunter Prince, we don't have a clue of how to do that.
