7:00 start time.. Just heard all Mayfield games will be 7:00 start times this year instead of 7:30..

Ft Campbell wins the coin toss and defers to the 2nd half, so, Mayfield will get the ball 1st.

Mayfield scores on 1st play from scrimmage on a 75 yd strike from Jake Guhy to Dion Jackson...PAT is good... Mayfield 7 Ft Campbell 0

Ft Campbell gets a good return and will start there 1st possession at midfield.

Ft Campbell fumbles on 1st play but falls on it but loses 2. An incomplete pass on 2nd down and a loss of 10 on a sack on 3rd down, so, good start for the Cardinal D.

Mayfield starts 2nd possession at there own 34 yd line... Mills picks up 5 on 1st down, a short completion for a 2 yd gain on 2nd down, Mills picks up a 1st down on 3rd and short..

 

Another completion from Guhy to Jackson for a 9 yd gain. Mills picks up another Cardinal 1st down on a short gain. Ball on Falcon 42 yd line.

 

An incomplete pass on 1st down, a complete pass for a 5 yd gain on 2nd down, a complete pass to Mills for a 1st down at the Falcon 28 yd line.

 

Mills picks up 5 yds on 1st down.. A completion to Jackson for another 3-4 yds on 2nd down.. A Falcon penalty brings up another 1st down at the 15 yd line.

 

2 running plays picks up 7, bringing up 3rd and 3.. Cards jump offsides making it 3rd and 8 at the 13 yd line.. Guhy completes a pass to Kennemore but only gain 4 yds, so, the Cards will go for a field goal that's good..

 

Mayfield 10 Ft Campbell 0 with just over 4 minutes to go in 1st qtr..

Ft Campbell starts next possession at there own 40 yd line. After a couple running plays that picked up 5 yds, the Cards sack the QB again forcing another Falcon punt.

Ft Campbell's D steps up on the next possession, holding the Cards to only 1 1st down and they'll take over at there own 20 yd line with 2:00 to go in 1st qtr..

Tristan Luke of Ft Campbell breaks off a 78 yd TD run, PAT is good.. Mayfield 10 Ft Campbell 7

Mayfield fumbles on the kickoff, but, they fall on it and will start at there own 32 yd line.

Mills picks up 2 on 1st down, Guhy to Bacon for a 6 yd gain on 2nd down, Mills picks up 3 for a Cardinal 1st down at there own 43 yd line.

 

Guhy to Reed for a 7 yd pickup. Mills picks up a 1st down on a gain of 4 to the Falcon 45 yd line..

 

End of 1st qtr, Cards 10 Falcons 7..

On the 1st play of the 2nd qtr, Guhy hits Bacon for a 45 yd td.. PAT is good... Mayfield 17 Ft Campbell 7

Ft Campbell starts the next drive at there own 20 yd line. They lose 1 on 1st down, Luke gains 8 and then another 3 for a Falcon 1st down..

 

Falcons picks up 15 more yds on 1st down to there own 45 yd line.

 

Ft Campbell loses 1 yd on 1st down, Jethro picks up 5 yds on 2nd down. A complete pass for a 4 yd gain and they go for it on 4th down and Luke picks it up on a great 2nd effort.

 

Incomplete pass on 1st down at the Card 45 yd line. On 2nd and 10, Williams calls his own # but loses 4 yds. On 3rd and 14, the Falcons throw for an 9 yd completion, bringing up a 4th and 5. The falcons get a delay of game penalty, so, they'll be forced to punt.
