Pretty good, not as good as the past 3 years but still a good team. Aaron Noll is the teams big man. The freshman Maile is a nice all-around player. They have some good guards. Bondick being one of them, he's a nice player. Smerge maybe the best JV guy they got. I think Garnick is the only Junior on the team and at times he can flat out light it up.

 

Why is Scott and SK still in the 9th Region JV Tourny? Is this like the Frosh tourny, NKY Coaches Assoc?

 

This JV team has no dominant player yet they have all of the parts you're looking for. In addition to the above, you cannot forget the player who is the key and this is Michael Grimes. He does nothing great but everything very well.

 

Bondick has surpised me with his shooting ability. He has a chance to be a very good varsity player.

 

Schmerge can shoot the 3 as well as any player in NKY - varsity or JV. His area he needs to work on his putting the ball on the floor and being able to score that way. You CANNOT leave him open right now for a 3 if his feet are set.

Well it seems like if SK beats the Birds' then there will be one heck of a game between them and Boone. Boone only losing to Cov Cath by2 and SK only losing to them by 1. I will have to see that game.
