Estill County 2013/2014

Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Estill County? Remember, please be constructive.

Lady Engineers will be a little bit better than last year but the 2014/15 season will be one of the best. However for this year, Estill will have 0 seniors, 5 juniors, 4 sophomores. This team will be led by JR Guard Sensation Kennedy Flynn, who is already over the 1,000 point mark for her career. Estill County will also have a much easier schedule than compared to past couple years. Letcher County Central and Knott County Central are not on the schedule which is kinda weird not seeing them on it. Powell County shouldn't have a problem winning a third district title in a row.

December 2, Model, 7:30 PM (Both teams split last season. Model won 57-37, Estill won 61-57)

December 6, Lee County*, 6 PM - Boy/Girl Double Header (Lee County took 2/3 from Estill last year. Lee won both games 56-31 Kennedy Flynn was hurt/did not play, 68-55 while Estill County won 48-43)

Hazard is on the schedule (either December 14 or February 1st, it keeps getting changed between these two dates so I don't know for sure what date it's on). (Estill County edged Hazard last year 56-55.

Estill County will be in two tournaments. I don't know which ones yet, probably the Berea Lady Pirate Classic and then another one.
