The Tigers advance to face Somerset tomorrow night :thumb:

I was out tonight and missed this one, but sounds like a nice win for B-Town. Any details? How did Calhoun do? I heard the Jumpers will be tough tomorrow.

Calhoun has 24 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. He shot 10 of 15 from the field. The Wildcats were just physically overmatched by Bardstown.

Bardstown's advantage in athleticism resulted in many, many layups. They shot something like 62 percent. Gallatin, on the other hand, seemed to have trouble with nerves, and it showed up in their shooting -- 24 percent.

The Bardstown-Somerset game should be a great one. Wish I could make it back up to Richmond for that one.

On another note, I spent a good bit of the game scanning the crowd for familiar faces. I saw many, many folks in the GCHS crowd I haven't seen in years.

Great turnout for Gallatin County in this one.
