What does Spencer County need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Spencer had their best season in school history last year. I'm not sure of what all they return this year, but it seems like they could be down from last year.

They return their best player. I look for Spencer to have as good of a year, if not better than last year.

Spencer did in fact graduate several seniors from last year. There are several pieces coming back most notable running backs Shawn Boykin and Logan Holbrook. Their defense has been solid for a couple of years so I would anticipate it to be solid again. They were 5-7 in 2011 and 7-4 last year and believe they will continue the upward trend. Collins is the clear #1 team in district and North Oldham and Spencer will battle for the runner up spot.

I remember those running backs, both are very good and Spencer should continue to have a lot of success running the ball with those two returning. No team in this district has ever beaten Collins and I sure don't see it happening this year. I hope Spencer has another good year this year, it's always good to see them succeed.

You are correct North has played Collins pretty tough and Spencer had them on the ropes last year. This senior group at Collins is extremely talented. I don't think either North or Spencer can challenge Collins this year. However those are 3 solid teams that make up a nice district.
