Good interview. I think Coach McFarland will do great in Union. Watched him play in HS, at NKU, and watched him coach at Dixie... Really has an eye for the game. I hope he does well!

This was my first time ever meeting David. He absolutely loves hoops and talking basketball. We talked for almost an hour before we even.got to the interview. He will do well at Ryle. He is mature far beyond his age when it comes to knowledge of the game and teaching both on and off the court.

He's a teacher, right? So, that has to help in dealing with the different attitudes and personalities of the kids he will coach. Also, it allows him to create those relationships on and off the court.

That interview is certainly part of the reason I said he should be a varsity coach today.
