Raceland and Lawrence had a hard fought battle in Louisa. Game stayed closed the whole way.Hatfield led Rams with 17 followed by Osborn with 15. Lawrence hits a 3 pointer with 3 seconds left in regulation to send to OT. After trading scores, Lawrence drives the lenght of the court and puts in a shot at the buzzer to get the win. Dont' have Bulldogs stats but, #5 scored a lot and Thompson did well.

Tough loss for the Rams, this is one we would have like to have. I believe the boy that made the 3 pter to put it into OT hadn't been real successful from "downtown" to that point- but came up big in the clutch.

Seemed that #5 for Lawrence Co. hit everything he

threw up last night. Lawrence Co. is much improved

since the Ram Derby Classic before Christmas.

Rams are idle until they go to Fairview next Tuesday.

he finished the night with 15 points second only to Thompson

with 22.

Nice win for the Dawgs. The freshman Chandler Thompson is going to be a very nice player in the 15th region in the upcoming years. The Dawgs are doing much better this year than most predicted they would in the 57th and 15th region. This is not a team anyone will want to draw to play in the first round of the tournament. Who would have predicted they would beat J.C. and Paintsville in this their first year. And if they beat Sheldon Clark Friday, they will pull off the sweep. Because if my memory serves me correctly they beat Magoffin earlier in the year.

That's after they lost the two best athletes in the school! Enoght can't be said about the coaches and players at LC. The coaches are getting the max out of the kids and the kids are pouring it all out week in week out. Hats off to the DAWGS as they are doing great things with the basketball program there. Coach Anderson has done a great job and he has surrounded himself with great people from assistants to the feeder program.
