addout Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Final North had several shots at basket at the end including a 3 pointer but couldn't connect.
Boucher Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Why NL waits until 3 minutes left in the game to play hard boggles me. If they would play the entire game with the intensity that they had in the end of the second and fourth quarters, they would be a very dangerous team. Nice game by Billy Carson for NL, and Josh Crawford for Corbin. Corbin's ball handling is their achilles heel. Once NL turned up the heat, theyCorbin cold barely get the bll inbounds, let alone up the floor. On another note... Typical showing by King Ralph and his cronies in this one.

Mastermind Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Great win on the road for the Hounds. I thought the gameplan was solid and the players executed well until late when their youth showed up. Corbin made a big step forward with the win. I hope they can build on this an continue to come together and improve. In my opinion it was a fairly called game with both teams battling hard to the final horn.

That was the word that I got plus Tate did not start and Hamlin did not play much.
Mastermind Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Tate has a bad ankle. Hamlin says he has tightness in his thighs which may explain his lack of lateral movement.
Les Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 This game was not a bad-caleld game at all. Tate made the play of the game when he dove on the floor and tossed the ball down the floor and the time ran out. Crawford scored 22 points and had 11 rebounds. Carson had 20 points for North.
Les Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Both teams were called for nine fouls apiece and North shot 12 freebees, while Corbin only shot eight.
ukbellco14 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Big win for Corbin. Nice job Hounds. NL is really struggling right now. I think that tough schedule is getting to them.

Now thats funny....calls were even, I was there and one play North got the ball back after the ball went off of a north player laying out of bounds........please Corbin should have put this game away........ :walk:
LOVETHOSERHOUNDS Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 But the North Pressure got tough on them at the end........I thought for sure that the North player would drain that 3 at the end, but fortunately off the mark.......
