Considering that they don't have any home rainouts, I'll take what they have. :lol2: But I know where you're coming from.

They play soccer on the boys baseball field. Beechwood is land locked right now so they would need to get a place off campus. I wouldn't want to play all my games on the turf but it's fun once a year to play there. More and more places will be playing on some type of turf before long, a lot of colleges in the midwest are putting turf in the outfield.

I believe the plan is to move softball to Ft. Mitchell Park's field next year.

 

As Lawnboy said, there are positives and negatives to playing on the turf, with the obvious positives being no rainouts. In fact, I believe there have been away games that were moved to Beechwood because they would have been a rain out anywhere else.
