Mustang

Featured Replies

The Brossart Mustangs won our tenth consecutive 10th Region "A" Championship this afternoon in Paris, defeating Bracken County 15-1 in the championship game. Sophomore Clay Kramer was the starter and winning pitcher. The Mustangs have won every "A" regional since the inception of the event back in 2004.

The Mustangs defeated Augusta earlier in the day to advance to the finals. I have no information at present on that game. We even our record at 7-7 and will await the 9th Region Champion for a face-off in a 9th/10th Region sectional with the winner advancing to the Touchstone Energy "A" State Tournament at Whitaker Bank Park in Lexington on Saturday, May 4th (Derby Day) at 10am in the morning where they will face the winner of the a similar sectional between Glasgow and the Champion of Region 3.

Congrats to Brossart on the win and good luck at sectionals.
