Lady Bears jump out early, scoring 4 runs in the top of the 1st. I believe they led by as much as 6-0. Brossart scores the next 5 runs, I believe all of them in one inning (maybe the 5th?). 6-5 heading into the top of the 7th & Lady Bears score 3 runs. Brossart scores 1 in the bottom half of the 7th to finish the scoring.

 

I don't know anything about individual performances, with the exception of the Conley girls. Emma pitched & I believe struck out 12. Allie went 4-5 with 4 RBI's, including 2 big RBI's in the top of the 7th.

 

Bracken will face Calvary Christian at Nicholas County on Saturday morning. I think the winner of that advances to the title game later that afternoon.

Do you give the scorebook info to the reporter or does he keep his own book? He must have scored something an error that you scored a hit.

 

Regardless, the 7th inning hit was huge.

I was wrong I had circled a hit but Allie hit into 2- FC creating a FO on 3rd both times.

Yes it was a huge hit, Emma was beside me and let out a huge sigh when Allie drove those runs in!!!
