The Richmond newspaper posted a picture on Twitter of the Madison Middle team that won an 8th grade state title in 09. It included, Hawkins, Taylor, Parke, and Walker.

Here is the pic of our "homegrown kids" after winning the middle school state championship !

I am fairly certain that Quan Taylor was raised in Richmond, although I'm not 100% sure...I do know that he has had an incredibly difficult home life so he has had to overcome a lot.

 

Ken-Jah Bosley's family is from Richmond, Bosley is a last name in Richmond like Smith may be in another community per se....I know his dad grew up in Richmond, and they lived in Indianapolis until returning a few years ago.
