Harlan Co has an outstanding PG. How did he play tonight.

 

He played well...but Alex Sargant, for HC had a very good game.

South Laurel's, PG Blake Sanders, played very well. Handled Harlan's pressure created plays off the dribble setting up his team with a lot of good looks and easy baskets. While himself making some big baskets. Blake Sanders, had tough Jr. and Sr. years with multiple unfortnate injuries but played well in his last few games. Good luck B, in the future!

Could be exactly what gets Harlan County rolling. Winning a close one that they possibly shouldn't have (i.e., not playing well/up to their potential) and getting the monkey off their back of never having won a regional game. It'll be interesting to see the North Laurel/Harlan County game for sure.

December 12 @ Harlan County - Harlan County wins 72-46

January 12 @ Perry Central (WYMT Mountain Classic) - Harlan County wins 51-43

 

Anyone know if North had everyone healthy for the WYMT game? I'm guessing they were without Allen in the first meeting.

Allen missed the first game. Everyone was there in the second game, which was very close until HCHS pulled away a little in the final couple of minutes.
