MC dominated from the start and built an opening half lead of 43-15.

Prewitt, Wallace and Tyler Jones didn't play in the second half for the Indians. They were also without Chase Hall for the second straight game.

Woodford Co played without 2 starters.

In his final home game for the Indians, Prewitt had a sensational stat line of 15 pts, 7 stl, 5 reb, 4 blk, and 4 ast, all coming in the first half.

He has been a truly special player for the last four years for the Indians.

INDIANS GET 25TH WIN

 

 

Montgomery County defeated 11th Region foe Woodford County at the Arena Tuesday night 72-40. The Indians forced the Yellow Jackets into 22 turnovers of which they cashed in on 31 points. Junior Bryan Wallace scored a game high 16 points on 7/9 shooting. Bryan is shooting an amazing 58% from the field this season! Senior Omar Prewitt scored 15 points, had 7 steals, 4 assist and 4 blocked shots. Tyler Jones scored 6 points and had 4 steals. The Indians were up 45 - 18 at the end of the first half. 17 players played in the game and 11 players scored. Junior Darius Jones scored 8 points shooting 4 of 6 from the field. The Indians bench scored 21 points 6 coming from Freshmen Art Walker who hit two 3 point baskets. Montgomery County shot 60% in the first half and 54% for the game.

 

 

 

The Indians play their last game of the regular season on Friday night as they take on Harrison County in Cynthiana.
