Ryan teaches at Conner Middle. He coached frosh and JV at Ryle. First year at Conner.

 

I know my Mom enjoyed her time with Ryan until her retirement from Conner this year! I am glad to hear he is doing well!

All 3 frosh have nice potential but I am REALLY impressed with Garnett's game.

 

I agree completely. He is the most developed of those 3 and the sky is the limit. Needs to develop his shot more outside of 15 feet and keep working to improve his right hand. Love his demeanor on the court--all business. Be fun watching him the next 4 years.

100% correct on the right-hand development. I saw him pass up a breakout because it was going to require him to go RH all the way.

Tony was my freshman basketball coach and English teacher. He used to play with us in practice. Not sure if he still has it or not, but dude could ball back then and was still dunking. If Nic ends up anything like his dad, Conner will have a good one.

 

Nic keeps improving year to year, month to month, week to week, day to day. His athleticism is off the charts. I want to be there the day his head catches up with his feet, because it could be something special. I think he will get there as he is starting to play more under control. Playing JV has helped his confidence at the varsity level as he is now playing about 10 productive minutes/game.

Agreed. Moving him to JV was wise. Best hops on the team by far right now. Great pull up in the lane. Needs to tighten up his handle and just slow down.
