Final from Booneville.

District Tournament is set.

(1) Powell vs. (4) Owsley

(2) Lee vs. (3) Estill

Owsley almost blew this one. They had an 8 point lead with less than 2 minutes left in the game but because of missed free throws and turnovers actually gave Estill a chance to win at the end of the game. But they held on for the district win.

Professor what happened to the other Lee/Owsley game? I don't think it would matter if they played or not because of how the district standings are.

(1) Powell (6-0)

(2) Lee (3-2)

(3) Estill (1-5)

(4) Owsley (1-4)

Estill owns the tiebreaker over Owsley.

I believe they are to play Lee in Booneville this coming week. Not sure of the date of the game. If Owsley beats Lee that would give them a 2-4 district record and 3rd seed. Estill owns the tiebreaker over Owsley, but an Owls win over Lee would give them a better district record than Estill's 1-5. They wouldn't be tied, so the tiebreaker would not be needed.

Their isn't a Lee/Owsley game on KHSAA not sure why it was taken off but it was. Owsley would have to defeat Lee by 10 in order for that to happen correct?

No.

Powell has #1 locked up.

Lee has #2 locked up.

If Lee beats Owsley in their next game then Estill will be the # 3 seed and Owsley #4.

But if Owsley beats Lee then that would give them a 2-4 district record and the #3 seed. Estill would be the #4 seed with a 1-5 record.
