Last game saw the Purples go down by as many as 20 points in the 3rd quarter. They came roaring back in the 4th to take a lead, but a 3 pointer at the buzzer by Warren Central pushed the game into overtime. Warren Central ended up winning 78-76 in 2 OTs.

BTW, on the girls side, BG just beat WC by 3. WC had a chance to tie at the end but could not make the 3.

I'm not sure.

Is Stivers Scott Stivers son?

Checked on facebook, I believe his father is Bob Stivers. Former math teacher at BGHS and current math professor at WKU.

I don't think so. I belive this is Greg Stivers' son.

Thanks. There was a guy named Scott Stivers that played for BG back in the early 80s.

His dad was my basketball coach in elementary school.

28-24 WC up with under 3 mins left in second.

If that's the case then Scott is his brother. That's a big difference in age.

Bob Stivers was my coach. That cat has to be at least 70...

30-27 WC up at half. BG rebounding the ball very well, getting a lot of second chances on the offensive end. WC shooting the ball well all around, even their free throws. Both big men for WC Carver and Porter-Bunton sat the last 2-3 minutes due to picking up two fouls.

Listed him at BGHS from 1971-2008.

Purples have made 5 three-pointers thus far. I believe Fant has 3 of those. Announcers not giving WC stats. :notworthy:
