Final

Birds came out firing scoring 19 in the 1st Qtr behind Houliston and Witte with 7 pts a piece.

Seven Hills scorched the nets in the first half drilling 9/11 treys.

Witte was 5-5 from field in 1st half for 12 pts but Birds trailed 34-29.

2nd Hal the Birds turned up the defensive pressure and Drew Houliston made a ton of Free throws. He led the Birds with a career high 29 pts. He was on fire tonight.

Birds had a 13-0 run in 2nd half to jump ahead 54-42 at one point.

Nice bounce back from Tuesday night's atrocity.

Witte had 12 pts all in 1st half and Nick True pitched in 11.

Nice. Need to get young Mr Witte to put two halves together. Key to the Birds success.

He took 1 shot in 3rd Qtr and got fouled shooting twice. He missed all 4 free throws which for some reason are an issue this season as he is having some headgame issues. He ran the point all night and in the 2nd half did a nice job of finding Houliston who had the hot hand. He leads the team in rebounds with 100+ on the year. I would have liked to have seen the same confidence in the 2nd half shooting but he did other things to help the team.

If the Birds get Witte, Houliston and Turner all scoring they are tough but getting that kind of consistency has been tough.

Can a mod fix the title. Birds 64 Seven Hills 54.
