Set to tip at 11:40.

Trinity will again be without the services of Daryl Hicks.

This should be a good one.

Timeout, 3:52 to play in the first.

Trinity leads 11-4 on the strength of two Trey Ivory threes.

End of 1: Trinity 17 Fairdale 9

Fairdale hit a three on the last possession to pull it closer. Szabo coaches a pretty smoothering style of defense and Fairdale lost the ball on several possessions.

Timeout with 3:30 to play inthe half.

Trinity leads 23-15. Ivory now leads the Rocks with 10 points.

Halftime: Trinity 28 Fairdale 22

Trey Ivory has 10 for the Shamrocks. Owens added 6 more.

Darren Lowry and Boo Crabtree leading the way for Fairdale with six each.

If you love hard-fought, contentious rivalry basketball, then you want this final to be Ballard/Trinity.

That's what my son and I are hoping for but honestly we are happy we'll get to see Ballard.

Fairdale pulls it to within a point at 36-35 behind baskets from Lowry then Payne.

Trinity forced to call timeout.

Cory Thomas hits a three and Trinity misses a shot at the buzzer.

Fairdale now leads 38-36 at the end of three. Trinity really misses Hicks' ability to score in a game like this one.

Timeout, 3:32 to play. Fairdale leads 45-43.

I think there might be a lid on Trinity's basket.

Back to back baskets have put trinity ahead by 2 with 2:06 to play.

Timeout taken by Fairdale.

Trinity isn't winning any new friends right now; they've held the ball for the entire last minute and have now taken a timeout with 36 seconds left and the game tied at 47.

And now Trinity's paid the price for it. 5 second violation called. Fairdale ball with 7.6 seconds left. Game still tied at 47.

Fouls to give all over the place. Trinity ony had three tem fouls, so they used one. Fairdale to inbound, 2.6 seconds left.

And Boo Crabtree misses a 15-footer at the buzzer.

Headed to OT. 47-47.
