Final from Perry in double overtime. Breathitt lead by 8 at halftime. Breathitt County's Michael Fugate hit a buzzer beating 3 from mid-court to send the game into the second OT. With the win Perry improves to 14-3 overall, (6-0 region). Breathitt County falls to 9-10 overall (3-4 region).

Breathitt County; Don't play until next week but that will be the start of 5 straight games which will be 5 straight home games heading into February. They will play Jackson City on January 21st

Breathitt has been up and down this season. When they're on one of their "ups" they have games like this one or the one where they beat Hazard in the consolation of the WYMT. When they are on one of their "downs" they lose by 30 to Knott Central in the WYMT semi's (and Knott lost to Perry the next night for the championship).
