This was a good game. Lee lead by 14 late in the game while Powell's only lead was a 1 point lead. Lee hit 10 3 pointers in the game. They were something like 10/16-10/17 some where around those numbers from 3. Big big loss for the Pirates as they fall to 5-10 but more importantly 0-4 in district play with 2 district games left (Jan. 18 vs. Estill) (@ Owsley County on Jan. 29). Lee County goes to 9-5 (2-2 in district play) with the loss I would say that this pretty much says that Powell will be a 4th seed in district tournament. Lee County will be 2nd or 3rd depending on how they go at Owsley, if they lose at Owsley then they will be the 3rd seed but they have to win by 3 or more at Owsley, if they lose or win by 1 then they will be a 3 seed with Estill or Owsley being the 2nd seed and the other one being #1. Marcum (Powell County) lead all scorers with 27 pts. The rest of the Pirate scorers had 8 pts or less. Evans lead Lee with 17 (including 3 or 4 3 pointers). Blake Gabbard added 12 for the Bobcats. Powell not having Brett Goodwin with them tonight really hurt the Pirates.

I don't really think seeding is going to matter very much this year. There's very little differences in the 4 teams. If seeding has any factor at all it will be to avoid Estill County because they are the tournament hosts this year.

I'm hoping my back is a lot better by the time you all come down. It's been down in the dumps past few days

Nothing like back pain. I have a bulging disc in my lower back that acts up occasionally. When it does it immobilizes me. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often.
