Quin Richardson's 29 points and Trent Gilbert's 23 points lead the Cardinals past St. Rita (ILL) in the Beach Ball Classic. SCHS moves into the semifinals of the Beach Ball and will take on the winner of Bishop Gorman (NV) and Whitney Young (ILL) tomorrow night.

St. Rita had beaten Christ Presbyterian (TN), the champs of the King of the Bluegrass tourney, on Thursday.

Good win for the Cards!

It was a great game to watch. Cong to Billy. Now go get one of the real Big Boys.

Looks like its Scott County vs. Whitney Young for a spot in the finals.

SC will have their hands full with WY. I saw them at the City of Palms in Fort Myers and they were arguably the best team down there. Lost to Montverde in OT after flying in that afternoon because of weather delays. In saying that I have also learned to never doubt the possibilities of a Billy Hicks coached team. Good luck to the Cards!

Whitney Young, loaded. Saw them beat Bishop Gorman last night, got a 6'11" kid everyone wants and a 6' 9" kid who may be best player in Tourney.Good luck to SC.

Beleive they have won it all before a few times. Good luck to the CARDS!!!!!!

Jahlil Okafor for Whitney Young is the No. 1 player for the 2014 class. Cards will have their hands full inside, but if Gilbert and Richardson can get hot and put up close to 30 I wouldn't count out Hicks and company. Good luck to the CARDS!!!
