Final from the 10th Monticello Banking Holiday Classic.

Hard to take much from the game. It was basically a layup line for Garrard. Garrard pressed for much of the first half, playing all 10 dressed players, and Monticello struggled to get the ball up the floor. Garrard eased back into half court man defense for the second half, but Monticello struggled to possess the ball and Garrard was off to the basket all evening.

Lions move ahead to the semifinals tomorrow night where they will take on the hosts Wayne County at 8:30. Wayne defeated Garrard 80-52 on December 15, so hopefully the Lions will have closed the gap some. Monticello will play Oxford (Alabama) tomorrow at 5:30.
