Final from Louisville. No Schaeffer or Parton. HHS had their chances. 3 point game with two min left and Dunbar hits just about all their free throws at the end of the game to extend the lead. Dunbar has a nice team. Very fast. Good game for both teams.

She is fast! She needs some work on offense. Don't think they were happy that we left her "unguarded" for just about the entire game. At least her dad wasn't!

Interesting both boys and girls played PLD today.

What is the status of Leah?

I think Leah and Emilie Parton are both hoping to be ready by the next tournament at Conner at the end of the week. Not sure how much they will contribute, but they are hoping to at least get started. It will help the HHS overall game either way. They get some if their depth back, which is important for the way they play. HHS is 3-2 without them in the lineup... With the two losses coming from very good teams. (Manual and Dunbar). We are very excited to get back to full strength. The combo of getting healthy, learning to play without Leah, and playing a pretty tough schedule will hopefully pay off for the birds in 9th region competition. We've had some "coming out parties" for some of the younger girls since the injuries.

Thanks, I hope to catch some of the Conner tourney coming up. Hope you are right about both players, two nice players, two nice girls.

Sounds like a good showing for the Bluebirds, considering they are without Schaeffer and Parton.
