9th Region Notebook/Rankings (12/16)

Featured Replies

I have to say that I would rank BB easily above Dixie and think they would match up well with NCC, CCH and Cooper. Holmes would present such a different style that IDK what would happen... although if I had to bet, my money would be on Holmes. I think they would dictate pace easier.

I pretty much agree with this, especially about them being easily above Dixie, and I too can't say for sure how they'd stack up against Holmes, but BB's tough lock down defense is pretty darn amazing in that they are excellent in forcing turnovers and denying teams access anywhere near the basket. As good as the Bulldogs are, I still lean towards thinking that BB's height, strength, and style could give Holmes some fits. Also, as good as the top 4 are in the 9th Region, my gut is telling me that BB is so solid they might just be a notch above all of them. That may sound like a bit of a stretch, but I really don't think that it is. I also feel that perhaps NewCath would give BB the best game of any team in the 9th mostly because of their style and height, however NewCath would suffer a bit in the depth department.

Just curious Walter where did you get the scoring stats for the Highlands/Bracken Co game? I didn't see anything reported on Ky.com or in the enquirer.

Nice reporting on the teams.

Saw it in a Highlands website. Google the score and it comes up.
