Pulaski Co getting off to a slow start.

Disappointing from my end. I expected much more from them. After all they have done since their freshman year this should be the year they make their presence felt. So far they are the same old Pulaski County. Good enough but not good enough...........does that make sense?

Yes it makes sense. Still keeping my eye on them as the season goes on.

There are a lot of good teams in the 12th this year, but no one team is standing above the others. Wayne has the best showing thus far so I agree with them being #1 this week. Pulaski is 2-2, but the 2 losses are to Scott Co. and Bryan Station. Southwestern has lost 2 games also, Wayne and Perry Co. Central. West Jessamine's 2 losses come from Henry Clay and Fleming Co. All of these losses are to teams that should be contenders for their respective regions. Overall this is going to be a very competitive region with 5-6 teams with legitimate shots at making it to Rupp come March.

Somerset has 1 loss to a good Russell Co team. I agree with you.

And could have easily won that game. The football players had only been on the hardwood for less than a week, new player, new coach, etc... I like what I see from Somerset. They are a very balanced and deep team. SHS has the ability to beat any team in the 12th and has a legitimate shot at cutting down the nets come March. This will be a fun year to watch SHS basketball! The Cothron era is here!
