For anyone that cares about hs football history the last RC 10-0 team played Somerset jumpers in the first round of playoffs and first kickoff of the game #1 for sset returned it 85 yrds for a TD and it went down hill from there for the lakers losing i think 49-19??? it was 1984 and i was about 12......Sset went on to lose in state champ game...

Might have been 1983 (83-84 school year), Jumpers lost in finals to Fort Knox. I had a friend on that Laker team, Edward George, he had went to Somerset thru Soph year then moved to Russell County.

Don't think Lakers go out that quick this year, I think this could be a magical year for the Lakers!
