Macke, Davidson named High School Players of the Week

Lauren is a very good player and it is fun to watch her work on the field with or without the ball to make it into every play. She had 3 good games against Brossart when they played them especially in the Regional final. Lauren, Taylor Robinson along with the Keeper carried Campbell to the level where they could have won the regional title if it weren't for the soccer God's looking down on BBHS in the shootout.

Interesting note that Morgan Verst of Brossart was also nominated. Congrats to both for being recognized.

Something else interesting is if both were nominated don't they usually take the player from the winning team??? just a question.

It's probably one of those goofy soccer rules which no one understands and gives me a reason to hate the game.
