Randy Parker
LaRue County out gained Henry County 395/159 in total yardage for the game. LaRue County had three backs rush for over 100 yds in the same game for the first time since 2002. Caleb Canter went for 145. Matt Hornback rushed for 115. Kelton Ford rushed for 105. Henry County scored a late TD with under 5:00 left to make the final of 42-15. Both teams had two turnovers and the rain held off until the game ended. This was a big win for the Hawks as it gives them a 1-0 start in the district. This was a Henry County team who had played 5A school Shelby County and Bullitt Central (both currently 5-2 on the year) to 21-0 and 21-7 games, respectively. LaRue County is now 3-4 (1-0 in district) with rival E-town up next week for a 7:30 kickoff in Hodgenville.
