A rough first quarter for Manual. Two lost fumbles and a 10 yard punt = Trinity 21 Manual 0 after one period.

Two minutes til half, Trinity up 28-0. Dawkins just scored on a short screen pass.

Crimsons on the board! 28-7 just shy of halftime.

Rocks get ball back with a minute to go. Strike to Quick for 6 more, XP botched. 34-7 with about 15 secs left til half.

Manual puts another TD on the board. About 4 min left in the 3rd, 41-14. Couple big plays for Manual tonight.

Manual stops Trinity on a 4th and about 6 in the red zone. Brooks had taken over running duties from Dawkins. Fourth quarter now starting. 41-14

L.T. Thomas with a 1 yard run for the Rocks. XP good. 48-14 T with about 8 min to go.

Shamrock defense scores again this with with a fumble return for a TD by DeShawn Bertrum. XP good 55-14 with 5:30 left.

The guys in red score again making it 55-21. Under 2 min left.

Manual scores a TD on last play of the game. Officials leave field, no XP attempted. From historic Manual Stadium (where Burt Reynolds once played for Florida State) we have a final tally of Shamrocks 55, Crimsons 27.

Next week the Rocks host the Bulldogs of Male on their home turf and look to keep a perfect district record.

Interesting stats from the game... T had just one more yard of offense 359 to 358 (but a lot of that Manual turf came late). Manual had 8 fumbles, lost 5 of them. Wright was like 23/31 for 300+ yards and 5 tds. Quick had 10 catches for 158 yards and 2 tds. For Manual, Romine had a fine night... 146 yerds and 2 tds. Dawkins had 52 yards but did not play the entire game (not hurt, just subs came in ).
