Southern had three turnovers that all lead to the 21 points they lost by. Damien Harris did not play so I'm concerned if this kid is ever going to play.

I heard the issue for Harris was a shoulder injury.

Southern has some good backs other then Harris in Wes Proctor and Coty Russell. Russell is the bruiser of the duo and Proctor is the quicker of the two.

How's Pope doing for the Colonels seen him play last year as a soph. looked like he had potential?

Southern is not big up front but looked to have some good first steps on the O=line, if they can put that together I look for them to compete.

Pope seems to be a welcome addition to the Colonels offense. With so much talent on the offensive side of the ball now, it's hard for a offense to zero in on Kentayvus Hopkins. The Colonels have 4 reliable recievers in Hilander,Cox,Gomez,and Johnson. Plus Brent Holman and freshmen Marquaze Hill does a very good job spelling Hopkins.

 

One thing the Colonels need to work on heading forward seems to be run blocking.
