I would assume Harrison County is the favorite to win this game. The favorite rarely pitches their ace in the first round of Regional Tournaments. Chase Mullins won't pitch for Bourbon, and I would be surprised if Brent Stoneking pitched for Clark County.

This does leave the door open for upsets in the first round, since the favorite is throwing off, and Scott, Bracken, Nicholas, and Mason will likely all pitch their ace.

If I were going to pick an upset in the first round (something other than my picks above), I would take a look at the NC/GRC game. JD Wagoner for Nicholas can be a game changer if he is on tomorrow.

I agree. If Wagoner is on, Nicholas County can hang around. I'm just not sure if they can hit well enough to win, regardless of who pitches for GRC.
