No, it was at the start of the dead period.

What was the reason? just retiring? taking another job in the system? dispute with administration? just wondering why he would leave so close to the season...again.

How many times has Cobb done this now?

Not sure. He had a gravy job. I think he wanted a little more and they said no so he hung it up. Lots of people disappointed in what he brought to the table. He wasn't all he was made out to be.
