Final from Carrollton in 8 innings. Congrats to the Panthers. Gallatin led 7-1 after 5 innings when a couple of plays were not made and the Panther bats came alive.

Nice article about the game. For those of you that open the link, would like to know your opinion on the picture and the description offered at the bottom of the pic. Thought it interesting that the home plate umpire ruled the runner safe due to obstruction by the catcher. The picture clearly shows that the catcher had possesion of the ball. That being said, the Panthers deserved to win this game.

I thought she would have scored before the ball got there. She slowed down and tried to get around the catcher before she caught the ball. I still would have called her out though. I thought the article was pretty good. Liked the part where CC's centerfielder made those game saving catches on routine fly balls.

I think the 8th , 9th, & 10th regions are wide open this year. Of course alot will depend on the draw & match ups . There will be alot of fun games to watch for sure.
