How many starters did they lose from last years team?

Belfry graduated I think 13 seniors, and 7 of them were starters.

 

Graduating starters include QB Tyler Williams, FB Trey Willis, TE Gary Runyon, RB Josh Dixon, SE Howie Dotson, OL Keegan Fields, OL Josh Nelson. A couple of those guys played both ways, so that equals about 9 starting positions out of 22.

 

Some people who have followed them over the years think this 2012 team has the potential to be better than last year's team.

Tony Messer, probably the only true D1 prospect on the roster. Tony can play on both sides of the ball and he has the body for the next level. I hope he gets some attention and the opportunity to move on and play at the next level.
