Bishop Brossart Wins 10th Region All "A" Classic Again

Featured Replies

The Mustangs of Bishop Brossart are once again Tenth Region All "A" Classic Baseball Champions winning over Deming 19-0 in the semifinals and Bracken County 8-3 in the Championship. Those games were played at Nicholas County High School Today. It was Brossart's 9th Consecutive All "A" Region Championship:thumb:

Brossart will host Lexington Christian, the 11th Region "A" Champs in the Sectional to determine the 10th/11th Region representative to the "A" State Tournament to be played at Legends Park on Derby Day weekend. The date and time for the sectional playoff game is yet to be determined.

The Mustangs were "A" State runners-up in 2011, finishing second to Christian Academy of Louisville. The Mustangs lost 10 seniors off of that team.

How did Bracken County look in the championship game? They always seem to play Brossart close over the past few years, but can't get over the hump. Didn't Nicholas get any rain, thought this game would be cancelled as seemed everyone in this area had all day rain?
