Walton and Beechwood go extra innings in the tournament finals. Well pitched game by both starters as Suchanek went for Beechwood. Not sure who the Walton starter was. Cottrel (sp) came in and closed the game out in the 8th for Walton after they plated two in the top of the inning. And I am always sceptical when people talk about a kid throwing high 80's and/or low 90's. I am not sure if and or when he has been clocked but he throws in that range. WOW! Toughest thng though is he throws a breaking pitch that is very hard and sharp breaking.

Also if someone can post all tournament team for this tourney that would be nice. Twelve team tournament that saw Beechwood and Highlands in one semi and Lloyd and Walton in the other semi final. Lots of consolation games played as well today. Kudos to Rob Sanders of Bellevue for running a great tournament.

If Cottrell stays healthy, he has the highest ceiling of any pitcher around here. Good build, great arm.
