  1. I never had Mrs. Romo but she did teach at CCHS. Mr. Emmelheinz was also a minister. He was just one of those teachers that students never forget!
  2. In high school I had Mr. Emmelheinz for English & Advanced Writing. He was a great teacher; he was a little quirky but that is what made his classes interesting. I always remember what he told us, “If you can write a paper for me, you will be able to write a paper for anyone.” Truth! In college I took Appalachian Literature and The Bible as Literature. Dr. Danny Miller taught both. He was an amazing Professor and these are my two favorite classes I took while in college.
  3. I’m coming tonight to cheer on the camels - my heart is green but still bleeds purple as well. Would love to meet any bluegrass preps peeps that are there.
  4. Thanks for the write up Mustang; and for broadcasting the game tonight. The girls appreciate your support. It was a great game - proud of our girls for playing hard and giving it all they had.
  5. No sour grapes from this BBHS basketball parent regarding how many points the Lady Camels scored - I expected the score to be much higher. My daughter knew what the outcome was going to be going in - I am proud of her and her teammates for not giving up and playing hard the whole game. Yes, they wish more of their shots would have fallen - but they did not. On the positive side they had the opportunity to guard and play against some of the top players playing basketball this year; learn something from that and move on to the next game! The Lady Camels are extremely talented and they play with class. I will be cheering them on in their post season run.
  6. We had a good ref crew tonight !! It was great meeting you lawildcat.
  7. Bishop Brossart Crowe - 14 points - 3 rebounds Frommeyer - 8 points - 7 rebounds Jump - 4 points - 2 rebounds Keifer - 19 points - 11 rebounds Moore - 6 points - 2 rebounds A Schultz - 10 points - 2 rebounds Tied up @ 55 after regulation. It was back and forth until Lloyd pulled away in the last 2 minutes of OT. An exciting game to watch; a heartbreaker to lose. Good luck to the Lady Juggernauts in the rest of your season. Both in this game and last year’s game they were always quick to extend a hand to help Brossart players up off the floor - very classy!
  8. Jessica King scored the goal with about 20 minutes left in the second half. Both keepers made some great saves during the game.
  9. Harrison County scored their first goal early in the first half and added their second before halftime. Bishop Brossart scored their goal with about 20 minutes left in the game.
  10. Mountain Dew - the Arbys & the Skyline in Alexandria have the best fountain Dews
