  1. Same. Hopefully they can at least make things interesting down the stretch. Plate a run or two and get some optimism flowing.
  2. Pitching change for Hopkinsville after Mayes walks the first two batters in the bottom of the 6th. Jackson Thompson takes the mound, inheriting two runners with no outs and a five run lead.
  3. Middle of the 6th Hoptown 5 Estill County 0 The Tigers threatened again in the top half of the inning, but Estill was able to avoid a larger deficit.
  4. Bottom of the 4th Still 3-0, Tigers. The Engineers are trying to get something going with runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out. ======================== Bases loaded now, but two outs. ======================== Nothing doing for Estill. Andrew Mayes strikes out Mason Griggs to shut the door and preserve Hopkinsville's 3-0 lead.
  5. Top of the 4th Still 2-0, Tigers. The bases are loaded for Hopkinsville with one out.
  6. End of the 3rd Hoptown 2 Estill County 0 A sacrifice fly by Gavin Mitchell plates another run for Hopkinsville.
  7. It's still 1-0 Hoptown in the top of the 3rd. Gavin Powell doubled in Dylan Sweeney for the game's only run in the top of the 1st. The Tigers now have runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out.
  8. It's always a treat to hear from the great Jody Hamilton, one of the best baseball minds in Kentucky and a winner everywhere he's coached. Boyd County ✔️ (state champs) West Jessamine ✔️ (state champs) Owensboro Catholic ✔️ (????)
  9. Two round trippers in this one, the first by Corbin's Noah Cima, the other by O-Cath's Barrett Evans. Evans' was the more impactful of the two, as it erased a two run deficit for the Aces in the bottom of the 5th to make room for Moser's game winner four innings later.
  10. Mason Moser, in the words of Hall of Famer Willie Keeler, "hits it where they ain't" for the walk-off win.
  11. End of the 5th Corbin 4 O-Cath 4 One swing of the bat, and we have a new ballgame.
  12. Barrett Evans launches one with a runner on. We're knotted up at 4 in the bottom of the 5th.
  13. No further harm done. Middle of the 5th It's 4-2, Corbin. Brady Atwell leads off for the Aces as we head to the bottom of inning.
