  1. This is silly. The whole thing. Not surprising for any of the parties involved, unfortunately.
  2. Seems like it was also "fact" that the parents of the victim weren't going to come out either. I would bet this media blitz by 19 does change things a bit. There's already an overwhelming feeling that this should not and can not be tolerated. The kid already quit the team. What will it take for some to take this seriously? Him leaving school? Or God forbid, harming himself?
  3. This is not a good situation, but the attitude of "boys will be boys" is what will keep the story going. Administration needs to reassess the punishments (if what is being reported is in deed true). Apparently this type of thing happens a lot at Highlands. A recent former football player took Tricia to task about her breaking the story and told her that this happens all the time. It's gotten 26 and counting favorites on Twitter - mostly from current and former HHS football players. If this is true and this has been going on for a while, things will get even worse in Ft. Thomas.
  4. Honestly, I don't know. Are the talents of the kids weighing into this equation at all? Do they have college offers that have come or could come? I think the kids need to pay the price of not being able to play again, but may just be the reason why it's weighing heavy on DM, BR, JB. Is it possible their last names are also causing more conflict?
  5. If true, this is a huge problem here and probably the bigger root cause of why bullying will continue. Inexcusable.
  6. A few things. A few media outlets know about this incident, so any hope that things get "swept under the rug" have gone out the window. And for those saying that police are going to get involved, they don't realize that the baseball team and FTPD are sort of tied into together.
  7. KN did apply. As did 2 others. BW had the job if he wanted it, but he did not.
