  1. I don't know, but that is a good point. I just assumed it was an injury.
  2. Seems like Keita stays injured. What's the status of his injury and will it hinder him the remainder of the year?
  3. Wireman, was there any outcome from Cordia's meeting with KHSAA? I have not heard any news on this subject
  4. I've heard that both of those kids are still enrolled at JBS and Justice is still the coach. They should have a competitive team with a weak bench. Probably rank 3rd in the district behind Knott and Letcher.
  5. Does it really matter how good we believe they will be since they are ruled ineligible? I just don't see them being ruled eligible for post season play. JMO
  6. I thought Knott had a decent draw last season. At some point, you just have to take care of business. I believe Knott has the tools to go deep in the tourney. Good luck to them.
  7. I don't think Hazard is ranked 3rd in the region this year. I agree with Knott and Perry's rankings, but believe that Hazard will be more of a 5 ranking. I see it as follows: 1. Knott 2. Perry 3. Buckhorn 4. Leslie 5. Hazard 6. Letcher 7. Breathitt 8. JBS 9. Wolfe 10. Estill From my understanding, the 3 foreign transfers are not eligible to play for Hazard and have since left. One transferred to JBS, which should help them compete against Letcher in the district. Wells is a nice player for Hazard, but, after losing 5 of their top 6 players from last year, they have some rebuilding to do.
  8. Given these kids sat out a year, they should be eligible.
  9. Would the surprise be an official visit to a powerhouse in the 14th? Any reports on how this visit went? The 14th remains interesting with Cordia out of the conversation.
  10. According to Allkyhoops.com, Whitmore has enrolled at Perry. This is huge for PCC. Is Blair officially enrolled as well?
  11. This will be a great championship game tonight. This game will accomplish two things: 1. It will give PCC players more experience handling ball pressure by not having Beverly. 2. It will provide Hazard a big lift going into the last part of the season. Hazard wins by 4. 54 - 50 Good luck to both teams. Hope Beverly recovers quickly.
