  1. Per Will's Twitter this afternoon: "Proud to announce that I will be studying engineering and playing basketball at Saginaw Valley State University! (D2 program in Michigan)" Congrats to Will!
  2. Per Tanner's twitter an hour ago: "Proud to say that I've committed to Thomas More College" Congrats to Tanner --looking forward to watching him play next year!
  3. Hemmerich and Lamblez have been tough lately, coming from way behind to beat Cooper. I'm going for the upset. Connor by 3.
  4. NKY Boys Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Team -- these are based on actual votes from the coaches, and not one person's opinion. Players ranked higher on the list received more votes: Division 1: Brandon Hatton Nick Ruthsatz Brenden Stanley Taylor Morrison Zach McNeil Will Stuhr Corey Holbrook Sam Hemmerich Blake Schneider Deandre Jackson Austin Schreck Tanner White Division II: James Bolden Drew McDonald Alex Trentman Zach Pangallo Jake Schulte Drew Burns Jordan Noble Ethan Snapp Quinton Chames Tanner Moeves Tyler Bezold Jacob Huff
  5. Agreed. Great Job with this summary. My only nit-picky comment is that St. Henry is ranked higher than Boone. I could be wrong and a lot will be decided in the next couple of weeks, but it seems like St. Henry has had just a couple of significant wins (against Conner when they were having one of their off nights and then against Boone when Stanley got in foul trouble). They are a decent team, just not sure if being catapulted to number six from a couple of upsets makes sense.
  6. It seems like home court advantage is a big factor this season in the 33rd. Where is the District tournament being held?
  7. Loved how Stuhr responded to Hattons opening 3 with his own 3. This set the stage for a nail biter...it was a one basket game with two minutes to play. Fun game to watch, great job by both teams.
  8. I agree that some of your other guys should be in the top ten. Specifically, my top ten would include: 1. James Bolden (Holmes) 2. Brandon Hatton (Dixie) 3. Nick Ruthsatz (Cov Cath) 4. Drew McDonald (NCC) 5. Jake Schulte (NCC) 6. Samuel Hemmerich (Connor) 7. Zach McNeil (Cooper) 8. Bo Schuh (Cov Cath) 9. Will Stuhr (Ryle) 10. Tanner Moeves (NCC) Other possibilities: Brendan Stanley (Boone), Zach Pangallo (NCC), Jordan Noble (St. Henry), Markel McClendon (Holmes)
  9. Shining Stars Kentucky U17 Team (coached by Mike Price, Oak Hills HS): Samuel Hemmerich (Connor) Landon Lamblez (Connor) Donnie Lewis (Lexington - Dunbar) Zach McNeil (Cooper) Tanner Moeves (Walton-Verona) Jake Schmitt (Louisville - Holy Cross) Mark Schult (Covington Catholic) Jake Schulte (NCC) Will Stuhr (Ryle) Tanner White (Ryle) First tournament next weekend - April 12-14 Bearcat Invitational; followed by Big Shots All-Ohio Classic April 19-21 (Columbus, OH)
  10. Interesting, so his AAU team must be based on year in school and not age?
  11. How old is he? I've heard he was held back once or twice, is that true?
  12. Final from Union. Stuhr leads Ryle with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Mays with 12, White with 9.
